And now, the question many have been asking...
Back in the day, one of the most popular questions that people asked on the "Grafitti Wall" on the "Tracey Takes On..." Web site was where could they find "They Don't Know", the theme to the second season of TTO, as well as a number 8 (US 1984) and number 2 (UK 1983) hit.
Here is the answer as of December 2006:
Tracey Ullman Takes On The Hits (Varèse Sarabande 302 066 376 2, US 2002) -- it's the first track on the disc
The Best of Tracey Ullman (Metro METRCD078, UK 2002) -- it's the second track on the disc
It can also be found on the Rhino collections Like, Omigod! The '80s Pop Culture Box (Totally) (Rhino R2 78239, 2002), Best of The Big 80's vol. 2 (Rhino R2 72820, 1997) and Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Hits of the '80s, Vol. 12 (Rhino 71975), but only on the CD version. And, of course, it can be found on The Best of Tracey Ullman (Rhino R2 70292, 1992), which was released by Rhino (are we seeing a pattern here?).
This information is probably good for Canada, but other discs may be more readily available in Europe and elsewhere. For information on those releases, check my discography.
